  4.      The  fax  software is written to work in the background, at  least  in

  6. theory.  Practically speaking, it will almost NEVER work on an XT (8088  or

  8. 8086), very unlikely on an AT (286) though there may be somethings you  can

  10. do, like typing, BUT NOT WHILE A FAX IS BEING RECV'D! As the processors get
  11.  
  12. better (ie faster) things improve. The more intensive the main applications
  13.  
  14. the  less likely they will work with Fax in the background (ie graphics  or
  15.  
  16. re-calc-ing a spreadhseat etc).

  18.      The final answer.... you have to try it with YOUR applications.
